What we collect
- Your song request. The answers you give in our questionnaire, including the recipient's name, the occasion and the story you share.
- Voice recordings. If you choose to tell your story by voice instead of typing, we receive the audio only to transcribe it (see below).
- Checkout details. Your name and email when you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider; card numbers go directly to Stripe and we never see or store them.
- Technical and advertising data. IP-derived identifiers, pages visited and ad click identifiers, used to prevent abuse of free previews and to measure our ads.
Voice recordings
When you record your story, the audio is sent securely to our speech-to-text provider, converted into a transcript and then discarded. We do not store the recording. Only the transcript is kept, as part of your song request, and you can review and edit it before your song is created. You can always type your story instead.
How we use it
To write and produce your song, deliver it to you, provide support, keep your access link and any song credit working, prevent abuse of free previews, and improve our service and advertising. Your story is sent to our AI providers (for lyrics and music generation) solely to create your song.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that run this site: hosting, database and file storage, AI lyric and music generation, speech-to-text transcription, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and advertising platforms (for example Meta) for measurement. Each provider receives only what it needs for its task. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep your song and order details so your access link keeps working and any unused song credit stays available. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by emailing . California residents may exercise their CCPA rights the same way.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential browser storage to remember your progress and the songs created on this device, and advertising pixels to measure campaign performance.
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure our ads: they may set the _fbp and _fbc cookies, and when you buy we send Meta a hashed (unreadable) version of your email to match the purchase to the ad, never the email itself.
